Extreme is one of the biggest and most famous computer art groups from
Russia. This team was formed as an amalgamation of some of the most popular
Russian Speccy demo groups like: Magic Soft, Megacode, Beermans and Speed Co. Now
the team is active on two platforms - ZX-Spectrum and
Amiga. It unites
about 17 members which are interested in computers and active in different
types of computer art, like coding, musicmaking, graphics, 3D-modelling,
etc. The members of Extreme live in different cities of Russia - Moscow,
Vladimir, Sarov and Samara. From time to time all members gather at the
Extreme meeting party, where they discuss future plans, new ideas,
recruiting, etc. The first Extreme meeting party was held in Moscow on the
12th of July 1997. This is the official birthday of Extreme (actually the
idea of this team was formed a few years before then).
